My name is Paris Choy. I’m born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and I’m finishing my last year for my double majors in Marketing and Apparel Design at San Francisco State University.

My inspiration for starting content creation is because I grew up watching Michelle Phan on Youtube. Around 2020 I decided to start posting content consistently and niched down in 2022 to beauty, fashion and the softgirl cottagecore.

Peiress is a play on words with my name, Paris, and heiress, though it traditionally means to inherit wealth from family, to me I like to think of myself inheriting what’s meant for me in life.

Since then my content has transformed to sharing anything that resonates with me and my values. I always loved the attention to detail in fashion and love how we can freely express ourselves with makeup. My education stems from information I’ve collected from the Internet and I had worked at Sephora for 3 and a half years. I’ve been doing my own makeup since the 6th grade. Throughout high school I was a part of crew for our plays and musicals for both costume and makeup.

Over the past few years I’ve grown a passion for mental health and taking care of myself in all aspects: physically, emotionally, and mentally. As I’ve learned how important it is to practice on a daily basis I hope that I can further educate and inspire others with what I learn.
